This is what you need to know if you book a seminar or if you make use of other Alpha Pendular Consulting services…

OPEN SEMINARS…
…are seminars dedicated to the public. Everyone can visit such seminars by just booking under “booking an Open seminar”. Different people with different back grounds and experiences, coming from different companies join here to attend the training sessions and to benefit from our know-how and experiences. Typical attendees are employees of companies who are or will be involved in project management or process management in their working environment. But also people, who like to apply for a new job but first want to create a competitive advantage, are advised to participate.

Venue…
…Open seminars are training programs that take place in distinguished seminar hotels in a number of capitals and major cities around the world. Attendees can expect the highest quality of such facilities. Our homepage shows under “PROCEDURE / Training / Venue”, in which cities Open seminars take place. After registration you will be informed in detail about the exact location address of your next seminar.

Tools & Equipment…
…The Open seminars will be held by using modern equipment and tools such as PowerPoint presentation technology including projector, screen, flip charts, seminar documentation and USP data storage devices. For open house seminars the seminar room facilities are being provided to all attendees without extra charges.

Language…
…All seminars organized as “Open seminar” are held in the English language.

Registration…
…this can be done by filling out our online registration form under “booking an Open seminar”. The complete seminar fee including 20% VAT must be on our account not later than six weeks prior to seminar start. Please note that our booking procedure works in accordance with “first come-first serve” principle. Your seat is only guaranteed after full payment of the seminar fee. After payment completion you will get a confirmation per email. Only confirmed attendees have access to our seminars. The exact location of the seminar will be announced and a detailed seminar description will be provided along with the confirmation of participation.

Cancellations of Open seminars…
…nobody likes to cancel a seminar. This is very inconvenient for you as well as for us. Since seminars and other training sessions need to be planned well ahead, it is hard or impossible for Alpha Pendular Consulting to find substitutes for attendees on a short notice. If you are not in the position to delegate a substitute, we then ask you for understanding that cancellations or transfers lead to costs according to the following schedule: If you should cancel 4 weeks or more before the seminar then you receive a refund of the seminar fee less a 10% service charge. If you should cancel between 2 and 4 weeks before the seminar then you receive a 50% refund. Regrettably no refund can be made for cancellations or transfers received less than fourteen days before the seminar, although a substitute may be named at any time before the seminar begins. Cancellations are accepted in writing only.

Minimum and maximum number of participants…
…the minimum number depends on the type of seminar. The maximum number of attendees to all of the seminars offered is limited to 24 for practical and quality reasons. Team work in smaller groups to exercise real-world situations are substantial part of the training sessions. Higher number of participants would not allow enough dedication to each individual.

Alteration of program…
…our organization is free and legitimated to alter the seminar program. The seminar venue and the seminar time frame can be changed or canceled for practical or organizational reasons at any time. Alterations may also be necessary for reasons beyond the control of Alpha Pendular Consulting. All registered participants will be immediately informed per email about the changes and alternative seminar programs. All attendees will get their full seminar fee refunded within 5 business days if a cancellation is necessary.

Seminar fee…
…all seminar fees for Open seminars are to be understood in EURO per person excluding 20% Austrian VAT. The seminar fee covers tuition, the complete seminar documentation stored on a USB stick, seminar description, a multiple choice examination, a participation certificate and refreshments during the coffee breaks. Seminar fees do not include breakfast, lunch, dinner, travel and accommodation for the participants. Attendees to Open seminars will not be able to attend if payments are not made six weeks prior to seminar start. The complete amount including 20% VAT must be on our account not later than six weeks prior to seminar start

Travel & accommodation…
…all participants are responsible for the arrangement and payment of their own travel, board and lodgings.

Catering for Open seminars…
…Every seminar consists of training sessions with coffee & lunch breaks in between. Coffee, tea, mineral water and non-alcoholic drinks are being made available by Alpha Pendular Consulting during breaks to all participants without extra charges. No arrangements will be made though for lunch time or dinner.

IN-HOUSE TRAININGS…
…are dedicated seminars to the employees and management of our clients. Typical clients are smaller and larger companies or institutions with the objective to implement project management or process management into their organization.

Venue…
…In-house trainings are training programs that take place either at the location of the client or at another location of his choice. Our clients are welcome to propose the venue, the seminar duration and the main focus of the seminar. For In-house trainings the client must provide an appropriate In-house seminar room for the training sessions, without the inconvenience of being disturbed by the client’s daily business operation. Alternatively the client has to provide a suitable seminar room at an appropriate out-door location. The seminar room must be equipped with a projector for PowerPoint presentations including a screen, as well as enough seats and tables for all attendees.

Tools & Equipment
The In-house trainings are being held by using modern equipment and tools such as PowerPoint presentation technology including projector, screen, seminar documentation, flip charts & utensils and USP data storage devices. For In-house trainings, the client has to provide the projector and screen for the PowerPoint presentation during the training session as well as flip charts. If the client is not able to provide this equipment, the trainer will make such arrangements with extra charges to the client.

Language…
All seminars organized as “In-house trainings” are held in the English language.

Registration…
…will take place after a detailed evaluation of the client’s needs and can be done by filling out our online registration form under “booking an In-house training”. The complete seminar fee including 20% VAT must be on our account not later than six weeks prior to seminar start. After payment completion you will get a confirmation per email. Training seminars take place only after confirmed payments. A detailed seminar description will be provided along with the seminar confirmation.

Cancellations of In-house trainings…

…the minimum number of attendees is not relevant for In-house trainings. The maximum number of attendees to In-house trainings will be subject of our evaluation.

Alteration of program…
…our organization is free and legitimated to alter the In-house training program. The seminar date can be changed or canceled for practical or organizational reasons at any time. Alterations may also be necessary for reasons beyond the control of Alpha Pendular Consulting. Registered clients will be immediately informed per email about changes and alternative In-house training programs.

In-house training fee…
…depends on the type of seminar, duration and number of attendees at the client’s location. This fee will be subject of our evaluation. All seminar fees are to be understood in EURO excluding 20% Austrian VAT. Seminar fees include tuition, the complete seminar documentation stored on a USB stick, seminar description, a multiple choice examination and a certificate of participation. The client must provide a suitable seminar room free of charge to Alpha Pendular Consulting. Seminar fees do not include breakfast, lunch, dinner, travel and accommodation for the client’s attendees. All traveling expenses, overtime and accommodation costs of the trainer are to be borne by the client and will be charged separately.

Travel & accommodation…
…all participants to In-house training sessions are responsible for the arrangement and payment of their own travel, board and lodgings.

Catering for In-house seminars
…requires the support of the client. Coffee, tea, mineral water and non-alcoholic drinks are to be made available by the client during the breaks to all participants without charges. The arrangement for lunch time needs to be discussed separately. If possible lunch can take place at the site of the client or - if desired - takes place at a suitable out-door location. All catering costs are to be borne by the client upon no charges for Alpha Pendular Consulting.

Travel & accommodation costs of the Alpha Pendular trainer for In-house seminars…
…are not included in the seminar fee and will be charged to the client separately.

Weekend and holiday surcharges…
…upon request, all our In-house trainings can also be conducted on weekends and on Austrian public holiday’s. In that case we can take the liberty of surcharging 30% in addition to our standard seminar fees. 

Discretion…
…we work for many different clients around the world and our clients are in competition with each other. Alpha Pendular Consulting herewith pledges that no business- or personal issues will be elucidated with other clients. This is rock solid.

Terms of payment…
…Excellent people want to be paid in time. This also counts for Alpha Pendular Consulting. Our invoices are therefore due upon reception by the client. That means 5 days 3%, 14 days net, without deductions. The complete amount including 20% VAT must be on our account not later than six weeks prior to seminar start. After payment completion you will get a confirmation per email. In-house training sessions take place only after confirmed payments. If payments are not made in time, we take the liberty to revoke the In-house training session.

Court of jurisdiction…
…normally we will not need a court to settle our disputes. But if we need to make an exception to this rule, for all matters that can not be resolved in consensus, the court is stipulated to be in Salzburg/Austria.

Your consent…
…so if you book an Open seminar or an In-house training, you fully accept the terms and conditions as herewith stipulated.
